The Dairy Nutrition Seminar, held at Radisson Blu Hotel BMD Ludhiana, brought together leading industry experts to discuss various methods for increasing milk productivity. The theme of the day was: “How to Activate the Drivers of Productivity in Dairy Cows? From Rumen Improvements to Intestinal Actions.”
Dr. Antoine WEINACHTER began with a keynote on the optimal conditions for achieving a high peak of lactation. After discussing how to optimize the amino acid profile, he emphasized the importance of protein efficiency during early lactation, how to identify the right sources to meet protein requirements, and ultimately how to increase RUP.
Dr. Antoine then addressed the impact of dietary fatty acids on energy digestion and the importance of starch management in limiting pathologies and waste. Compelling data highlighted the need for a balanced and diversified carbohydrate intake and for controlling sugar to optimize performance.
