Glimpses  of  Superannuation Party hosted by Dr Parminder Singh, former ADEE, GADVASU

Dr Parminder Singh who recently retired on 31.08.2026 as Additional Director of Extension Education, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana; hosted a get together on 02.09.2026 evening. In this gathering all types of stake holders participated be it scientists from both universities i.e. GADVAS & PAU, dairy, poultry, goat and pig farmers, feed mill entrepreneurs, feed additives and pharmaceutical representatives and his school and college mates. Dr Parminder thanked everyone for gracing the occasion with their presence, warm wishes and heartful words for making the evening memorable. He also acknowledged support, encouragement and beautiful memories of each one during his 33 yearlong illustriouscareers.

            Many visitors spoke highly of Dr Parminder during the party. Some of comments are as follows:

  • I have double relation with Dr Parminder. 1st he is from same school from where I studied. He was two years junior to me, very good in studies and sports. Later he became my colleague in the university, did some excellent field work with him especially survey of resistance of antibiotics in poultry and its associated workers. Now I find him a silent worker who keeps doing his job meticulously without demanding anything. I wish him great time ahead.
