Indian Herbs Specialities Pvt. Ltd. organized a Spectacular One-Day Technical Seminar in Kathmandu, Nepal, on August 8, 2024. The seminar’s theme, “Recent Advancements in Poultry Nutrition and the Role of Phytogenic Feed Supplements,” addressed critical aspects essential for sustainable poultry farming.

Key highlights of the seminar included a noteworthy address by Dr. Umesh Dahal and an insightful session by Dr. Dinesh Gautam on “Recent Advancements in Poultry Nutrition.” Dr. Dinesh Gautam addressed the topic of using alternate feed ingredients such as DDGS in poultry feed, emphasizing the importance of alternatives such as phytogenics, prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics. His discussion focused on minimizing the use of antibiotics and synthetic chemicals in poultry feed to enhance the health and immunity of poultry flocks.
This session was further enriched by Dr. Shivi Maini’s presentation on “Novel Phytogenics for Sustainable Poultry Production.” Dr. Shivi highlighted the various initiatives undertaken by Indian Herbs Specialities aimed at providing innovative, safe, and sustainable solutions to ensure comprehensive health benefits for poultry flocks.
