DeHeus India Private Limited, popularly held its Layer Farmer Interaction programme in the region. On 3rd August Layer Farmer Interaction programme was held at Riyasat Resorts with the intentions to enter Kurukshetra markets. The programme was attended by over 80 poultry growers, poultry dealers, consultants and media people.

A unit of Royal De Heus, Netherlands De Heus India Private Limited started business in India in 2017 and established its Dairy, Swine and poultry operations in North India and expanded its supply throughout the country as well as up toneighbor country Nepal.
The Director of De Heus India Operations, Mr. Tanveer Malik joined the launch programme. In his presidential address, Mr. Malik shared that De Heus as a global leader understands its responsibilities and is committed to improve the farm conditions in the country. He introduced company profile with the audience and sharedinformation about different businesses of the company globally. He added that the unique approach of De Heus aims to help farmers in all aspects of farm management and optimize the health, production and feed conversion of their birds as well as the earnings of our farmers. By collecting, sharing, translating and applying all knowledge and experience we daily obtain worldwide, we are able to provide tailored nutritional strategies, products and services wherever we are active. Our Global Poultry specialists travel the world focusing on improving all aspects of farm management by developing and training our local teams as well as farmers. In Our production location in Rajpura, Punjab we produce the products specially catered to the demands of Indian broiler and layer farmers. In these products we combine our global knowledge and local experience and use this to develop tailored solutions to reach our ambition in further improving the Indian poultry sector.
Mr. Amit Mittan, Business Development Manager shared the company’s expansion plans, other services and products that the company is providing. He shared thatmodern poultry farmers are continuously looking for improving the performance of their flocks and the company will help them to reach their goal. He further added that during the rearing phase the foundation is built for production cycle. Research indicates the performance of the hens is highly influenced by the development during the rearing phase for which De Heus has developed a well-balanced feed concept for the complete rearing period which consists of feed types for each age category.
Mr. Praveen Kumar, Sales Manager, did the warm welcome of all the farmers, dealers, esteemed consultants, and other people present. Mr. Kumar also made presentation on the poultry feed products of the company. He shared that De Heus India has a unique series of Poultry feeds with special number designated to each product. Mr. Kumar shared the unique features of the De Heus Poultry feeds. The presentations were followed by two way interaction session and Lunch/dinners. The overall response from the farmers was very constructive.
