1. Where are you from? I am from Ambajogai town of Dist. Beed of Maharashtra
2. What is the best thing you like in your journey? During my journey, the best thing I liked was the wholehearted support by my wife and children and full cooperation by my co-workers and industry friends. These 3 factors provided an inspiration to succeed.
3. What is the right motivation you like in the journey from starting till now? I am a self-motivated man. Tremendous opportunities which I could see ahead and the burning desire to achieve the goal constantly provide me the motivation.
4. Why you choose the Poultry / Livestock profession? I chose poultry and livestock industry because I visualised huge scope ahead to invest in it and grow.
5. As compared to other big players in the industry, how is your organisation different? My organisation is different than others in so many ways: We work to provide need-based solutions to the farmers. We work to develop new sustainable ideas to provide solutions to the farmers problems. The best examples are the first probiotic formulation in India for aquaculture to reduce mortality and improve productivity, one of the first to manufacture broad spectrum toxin binder in India, introducing effective non-resistant fly control solutions for poultry. Apart from marketing our products we also develop and help the marketing organisations by providing innovative and successful profitmaking products. Few facts about TEAM EXOTIC…
   1. We have our own manufacturing facilities which are FMI-QS version 6 certified. We give assured service where we do not deviate in quality of our brands.
   1. We are pioneers in introducing highly effective formulations of probiotics, prebiotics and formulations which have marine algae.
   1. We are also first in the industry to introduce Marine algae in the Animal Health market. Extensive research and the scientific university trial, commercial trials have proved that the Marine Algae can be a boon for the industry. The product called Nutrimark containing Marine algae is the most popular brand in both Poultry and Livestock sector.
6. Please tell us about your family. My Wife: Sudha, she is a home maker. First son, Sudhanshu who is M.Sc. in marine Zoology is a Director of Exotic BioSolutions Pvt. Ltd. and partner of Exotic Mushrooms. His wife Uttara is Ph.D. in Indian classical music (vocalist), she is an “A” grade artist of All India Radio. She is a professional vocalist. Their daughter Krushnaa, is pursuing education in Musical theatre in Liverpool, UK.

Second son Dr. Makarand is M.V. Sc. He has a well-known pet clinic “Top Dog” which is equipped with all the latest facilities. His wife Dr. Deepali who is also M.V. Sc. from Mumbai Veterinary College, helps him in running the clinic. Their Daughter, Dr. Sushruta has just cleared her DVM degree in US and she is further undergoing advanced courses in Clinical medicine.

• What you think about your organisation’s roadmap of next 5 years?  Road map: The road map for my organisation will be to continue to provide best possible solutions for Animal Health which are result oriented, sustainable, safe to replace the use of antibiotics and these solutions are beneficial for the farmers to earn extra profit. To work on various marine algae which have medicinal properties to provide world class products which can be substitute to chemical formulations.
• What is your message to the next generation entering this business? Before venturing in AH business, study the entire size and scope by working at ground level. Identify the areas where new products are needed, who are major players, how you will overcome them, Be-confident, honest, and sincere, success will be yours. Always see to it that farmers are benefitted with your services.
• What are your favourite eatery food? All Indian veg dishes is my choice. I Relish South Indian, Maharashtrian food and also Dal Makhani and Paneer dishes of North. I enjoy milk and milk products a lot.
• What are your hobbies? I am keen listener of Indian classical music, old Hindi film songs, like to read fiction and science as well.
