Progressive Dairy Farmers Association (PDFA) International Dairy & Agri Expo 2024 was inaugurated by Parshottam Rupala, union minister for animal husbandry, fisheries, and dairying, Government Of India on February 3. The three-day fair attracted dairy farmers from across the state, and was held at Cattle Fair Ground in Jagraon.
Daljit Singh, president, PDFA, informed, “The inauguration ceremony was held at 11 am on Saturday, and the competition of breeds was held on the same day. On Day 2, there were milking competitions, seminars, and farmers award ceremony, while the concluding day also included competitions and prize distribution function.” The Expo was an annual event that brought together stakeholders in the dairy and agricultural industries. The event showcased the latest innovations, technology, and products in these industries, while also providing a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and business opportunities, he added. The PDFA International Dairy & Agri Expo featured a wide range of exhibitors, including manufacturers of dairy and agri products, suppliers of equipment and technology, agricultural research institutes, universities, and government agencies. Visitors could explore the latest trends in dairy and agri products, equipment, and technology, and discover new business opportunities.”
