Glycinates:

Smallest complex with highest mineral content – trace elements are essential nutrients required by all animals. They supply for a variety of important physiological functions. However, when Glycinates are being clubbed with Curcumin extract as an additional chelation, minerals become completely bioavailable.

The Indian spice turmeric (Curcuma Longa ) is used in food processing, fabric dyeing and cosmetics, and has also been used as a medical herb in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries. Yellow pigment curcumin (abbreviated as curH), the major component of curcuminoids isolated from turmeric powder, is known to have a broad spectrum of medicinal benefits.

Using these forms of highly bio available curcumin now enable a broad spectrum of appropriate studies to be conducted. This review discusses the formulations designed to enhance bio availability, metabolism of curcumin, and relationships between solubility and particle size relative to bioavailability.

It has excellent role in controlling Coccidiosis with curcumin extract alone in chicken and when clubbed with ionophores and chemical combination, it can ensure 100% protection from Coccidiosis. ‘One of the natural compounds is curcumin, the extract from herbal plant Curcuma longa, known for its antioxidant & antimicrobial properties which may be an effective in reducing coccidia infection in poultry’

Curcumin improved nutrient metabolism by enhancing the production of bile acids and activity of gastric enzymes to accelerate digestion and absorption. Furthermore, it has been shown that curcumin has the potential to destroy sporozoites of E. tenella and reduce the oocyst shedding and gut lesions. Curcumin is also proven to be protective to maintain gut integrity by boosting humoral immunity of the host .

Among different herbs and supplements, turmeric (Curcuma longa L.), which contains bioactive secondary metabolites as curcuminoids, has been successfully used as a suitable feed supplement for poultry. It induces a wide range of positive actions in birds, namely: 1. improvement of several hematological and biochemical indicators, 2. increase of antibody titers after vaccination (e.g., against Newcastle disease), 3. diminishment of heat stress by different mechanisms, 4. prevention from harmful effects of aflatoxins consumed together with diet, 5. increase of antioxidant activity of several organs (e.g., spleen), 6. decrease in some potentially pathogenic bacteria counts, i.e. Escherichia coli, in the ileal content of the farmed laying hens.

Chelomix is perfectly blended organic trace mineral with glycinated copper, cobalt, iron, iodine, manganese, selenium, zinc, chromium & curcumin extract.

Chelomix is complete glycinated chelated organic mineral premix for broilers, layers & breeders fortified with buzz of the market ‘Curcumin extract’ helps to overcome mineral deficiencies that leads to stress; nonspecific egg production; poor feed intake; less body weight; poor productivity etc.

GLOCREST Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd has wide range of anti-coccidials named as Coccicare range also containing Curcumin extract & Vit K3 along with Ionophores & Chemicals combination.
