“Campus Calling”, an innovative initiative by Bentoli, was designed to inspire the next generation of veterinarians by encouraging them to showcase their skills in scientific writing and oral presentations. With a vision to nurture future technocrats in animal nutrition and health, the program targeted 4th- and 5th-year veterinary students across India and Nepal.
Focusing on a critical and timely theme—” Coccidiosis Control through Phytochemical Modulation of Immunity”—the competition challenged students to think creatively while addressing one of the most pressing challenges in the animal nutrition industry.

The program’s success was underpinned by a dynamic outreach strategy. Bentoli combined vibrant social media campaigns with on-ground engagement to connect with veterinary colleges in India and Nepal, generating curiosity and enthusiasm among students. In-depth presentations deepened these connections, showcasing Bentoli’s vision and mission for Campus Calling.
The response was phenomenal: 180 students registered, and 67 meticulously researched scientific articles were submitted. These submissions reflected the participants’ dedication, critical thinking, and intellectual rigor.
A distinguished panel of jurors—including renowned academicians and industry experts—conducted a rigorous, anonymous evaluation of the submissions. After careful scrutiny, 10 top articles were shortlisted, and five finalists were invited to deliver virtual presentations. This stage tested not only their scientific knowledge but also their ability to communicate complex ideas effectively—a key trait for future leaders.

Two exceptional participants emerged as winners:
- Dr. Avalin Priyadarsani from CVSC – Tirupati, SVVU, Andhra Pradesh
- Dr. Chandra Sekhar Gudla from IIVER – Rohtak, LUVAS, Haryana
The winners were fully sponsored to attend Poultry India 2025, South Asia’s largest poultry exhibition, held in Hyderabad. This prestigious event offered them a platform to engage with industry pioneers, explore cutting-edge innovations, and expand their professional networks.
At the Appreciation Dinner hosted at Hotel Daspalla, Hyderabad, the winners were honored in the presence of 150 distinguished guests from around the world. The awards were presented by Dr. Purnendu Biswas, former Vice Chancellor of WBUAFS, who lauded their exceptional contributions and commended Bentoli for its visionary initiative.
Dr. Biswas also shared invaluable insights on the future of the poultry industry, inspiring attendees with his vision and expertise.
Dr. Prabakarn Rajamanickam, former Vice Chancellor of TANUVAS, Mr. Madan Mohan Maity General Secretary of WBFF and Mr. Umesh Sapkota, President of feeds association Nepal were also graced the occasion.
The evening was more than an awards ceremony—it was a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and the limitless potential of young minds. Guests engaged in meaningful conversations, forged new connections, and reflected on their shared commitment to advancing sustainable practices in animal nutrition. The atmosphere buzzed with camaraderie, inspiration, and the collective joy of recognizing excellence.
Bentoli’s Campus Calling initiative exemplifies its dedication to fostering talent and driving innovation in animal nutrition. By empowering the veterinarians of tomorrow, Bentoli is paving the way for a sustainable and innovative future in the animal industry.
