Position: National Sales Manager (Poultry Division- India & Sub-Continent)
We are looking for an experienced National sales manager to contribute to our company’s sales objectives. Your responsibilities include supervising the sales team and building long- term client relationships.
As a National sales manager, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position. Ultimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with Key customers and distributors.
- Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, Plan, execute and achieve the sales target as per the business plan.
- Analyse territory performance reports.
- Administration of National Sales team by optimum utilization of resources (Funds and Cost Control in general) and Sales & Distribution cost in particular.
- Develop market intelligence and expansion of distribution network.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market
- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
- Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure team members are on board.
- Implements strategies to maximize brand awareness,
- Ensure timely response to customer needs concerning product recommendations, application, performance and Customer complaints.
- Maintain a good understanding of the market, customers, competition and developments within a specialized segment in order to leverage sales opportunities.

- Graduate or Post Graduate in Life Science or Veterinary Science.
- Qualification of MBA in Marketing and Sales
Required Experience and Skills:
- Proven work experience as a National sales manager
- Experience of managing a high-performance sales team
- Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Availability to travel as needed
- Min 12 years of experience in handling Poultry Nutrition or Animal Feed Supplement or Human Pharma business.
Location: PUNE, Maharashtra, India
Salary: CTC 24 to 48 Lakh /Yr. depending on potential of candidate.
