It was a pleasure to witness a productive meeting between Hon’ble Union Minister for Food Processing Industries, Shri Chirag Paswan Ji, and the delegation from IB Group Mr. Saurabh Nagpal, SVP & Head – Broiler Integration and Mr. Amit Sharma from the Strategy Team. The discussions focused on IB Group’s proposed investments in Bihar including the establishment of a modern chicken processing unit and the expansion of its feed plant and hatchery operations.
Hon’ble Minister Shri Chirag Paswan Ji warmly welcomed IB Group’s investment plans and assured support from the Ministry and the Government of Bihar for these initiatives. uch investments have the potential to create significant employment opportunities, strengthen the poultry value chain, promote food processing, support local farmers, and contribute to Bihar’s economic development.
The expansion of modern poultry processing and allied infrastructure can play an important role in building a more organised, efficient and sustainable poultry ecosystem in Bihar. This will not only accelerate investment and industrial growth in the state but also help shape the future of Bihar’s poultry and food processing industry.
