The IPR Knowledge Review on “Integrated Approaches for Sustainable Layer Farming in Tripura” was successfully held on 11th April 2026 in Agartala, bringing together poultry professionals, veterinarians, nutritionists, consultants, and key industry stakeholders.

IPEMA–Poultry India proudly supported and participated in the event, reinforcing its commitment to advancing knowledge-sharing, industry collaboration, and regional development within the poultry sector. The session witnessed active engagement from experts and stakeholders, with focused discussions on sustainable farming practices, productivity enhancement, disease management, and the future of layer farming in the region.
Serving as Guest of Honour, Mr. Uday Singh Bayas, President, IPEMA–Poultry India, led the association’s presence at the event. In his address, he highlighted the evolution and growing significance of Poultry India as a leading platform for innovation, technology, and business networking within the sector. He emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts, regional outreach, and continuous knowledge exchange in strengthening India’s poultry ecosystem.
The seminar addressed the increasing challenges faced by the poultry industry, including evolving disease dynamics, climate variability, feed quality concerns, and the need for enhanced biosecurity. Experts underscored the importance of adopting integrated approaches that combine nutrition, farm management, advanced diagnostics, and sustainable practices to ensure long-term productivity and resilience.

Key discussions also focused on proactive disease prevention strategies, region-specific interventions, vaccination protocols, and the role of digital monitoring and precision farming in improving farm outcomes. The need for strengthening surveillance systems, improving infrastructure, and fostering public-private partnerships was highlighted as critical to the sector’s sustainable growth.
The event featured insightful presentations by leading industry experts, covering areas such as poultry health, mucosal immunity, environmental management, antimicrobial resistance, water health, nanotechnology applications, and data-driven disease monitoring.
